In the 90s and early 2000s, boy bands and girl groups reigned supreme. Everyone knew their music, everyone had a favourite member, and everyone had an opinion on which pop group was the best. These bands were world famous. But behind the saccharine pop ditties and carefully manicured looks were young artistes struggling with the demands of superstardom. And for every band that made it, there were a hundred more which fell by the wayside.
