2 to 3 March: PIRATES OF TOKYO BAY in Singapore (Highly recommended)
Where: UWCSEA Dover
Price: $10 at the door (Cash)
Details on Facebook
Catch PIRATES OF TOKYO BAY in Singapore. Two nights only!
Shows at the UWCSEA campus (Dover) along with the schools best student improv groups!
Show starts at 7:30pm. Since it at the high school (and not a theater company) there is no ticketing system. When you arrive at the school, please show the guards a photo ID.
The theatre is called the ‘RBT’ and it is the large round building straight ahead as you enter. Get the taxi to drop you at the guardhouse, follow the pathway to the left. Once you go up the stairs (by the swimming pool), turn right and then right again and go up the steps to the playground. The theatre entrance will be directly across.
There are usually all sorts of people about on our campus so feel free to ask for directions.
Simply show up prior to the show to purchase your tickets and find a seat.
Tickets should be in the $10 range.

8 March: International Women’s Day with The Latecomers (Improv)
Where: The Merry Lion
The Latecomers, Singapore’s very own improv troupe are excited to celebrate International Women’s Day with a specially themed night of improv featuring some of our favourite female improvisers and comedians.
We’ll be playing ‘Whose Line Is it Anyway?’ style short-form improv games, serenade unsuspecting audience members, along with long-form improv inspired by monologues from a special guest.
Also featuring Pashmy, an all-female improv duo who will be exploring multiple characters in a never-seen-before improv format.
Come and check out The Merry Lion, the only full-time comedy club in Singapore and support the up and coming improv comedy scene.
15 to 18 March: Singapore Improv Festival 2018
Fake news, a Royal Wedding, the Singapore budget and cryptocurrency may seem to have nothing in common, but improbable scenarios involving all the above can only come to life with the magic of improvisational theatre.
Diverse audience suggestions will spark the stories that will be told at the Singapore Improv Festival (SIF), returning 15–18 March 2018 at the Aliwal Arts Centre.
Now in its second edition, the Singapore Improv Festival presents completely unscripted and unmissable stories created with nothing but a little help from the audience and the performers’ own creativity.
One can expect unique tales of love, horror, adventure and science fiction and much more — made up completely on the spot.
